LK3054 Newbie Question - 3 point

I just picked up my LK3054 last week and upon original inspection I found that the 3 point would not go all the way down.
The dealer said it had some chain stuck in it.
Now it goes up and down but I have to step on it to get it to drop the last 3 or 4 inches.
Is this normal? thanks.

It should drop to the end of it's travel by itself with the weight of just the lift arms. Something must be binding it a bit. Where the chain was stuck, did something get bent?

I dont believe so but will take a second look.

no chain caught, I h ave to push it down with my foot the last 3 inches or so.

This will sound dumb, but is the speed control knob under your seat tightened too far. On mine if I set it for my heavy tiller, then go to hook up my rake, I do need to step on the arms to get it to go down all the way, or remember to open the valve before I hook up.

Not a dumb suggestion at all, Mate. Quite often it's a 'second pair of eyes' that spots the problem... and often it's a simple solution.
