Curious to what his forum readers think of the 7308 vs 14a and 16a loaders to the new 200tl loaders. Has anyone been lucky enough to own an older version and compare to the new 200tl series. plus and minuses to both.

I have the LX114 loader with 60" QD bucket on my DX29 and am quite happy with it, except for the long reach factor, which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. I don't know if the new ones are the same arm design or not.

By reach factor, I refer to the fact that this model loader is noticably farther ahead of the tractor than conventional dogleg styles. As I approach the maximum lift capacity I find myself lifting the rear of the tractor despite having 900 lb on the 3 point, 260 lb on the wheels, and 210 lb of me on the seat. I don't think that would happen if the bucket was about a foot closer to the front axle.

On the flip side, the long reach is really handy when loading stuff into or out of the pickup, or dumping fill into a ditch.

Have a TC48 with an 18LA loader. It has preformed very well. The difference I see in it are several. One is that the newer loader, I believe, a 270? has the back of the loader mountings arms against the mid mount upright tractor frame. This to me is a design improvement. Instead of the stress, and force placed directly onto the rear boom pins, (which are large and strong). The force is spread out onto the entire frame upright member. The newer pin just cams the boom mount back against the mid mount frame up rights. On the 18LA side, I like the cast steel ends which are on each end of the curved boom.....just my 2 cents!:D

I thought the 7308 was the same as the Rihno 2408 which i have.

per Rihno website....

2408

the 2408 and the 2408TL (which i took to be the same as the 16a) differs (whati consider) significatnly in its capacities... but that seems to stem the most from the diffrence in rated rated PSI's which makes no sence to me other than Rhino/NH just upped the PSI on the loader to compete with other CUT specs for there FEL's (which makes sence)

ive been wanting to up the pressure on mine, as it seems to run out of lift relitivly quickly when digging.

what mine looks like
