I recently installed a front end loader on my Long 2360. I currently have it connected to the rear remotes and keep the handle tied back, which works fine, but do need my remotes for other implements. How can I connect my FEL to the tractor hydraulics without using the rear remotes? I have seen the pump that bolts onto the back and runs off the pto, but I would assume that you have to have a external reservoir for that to work. I know it can be done, but wanted to ask before I started tapping into hydraulic lines. Any help would be appreciated.

This is what you have.

Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 5.25 gal [19.9 L]
Pressure: 2000 psi [137.9 bar]
Total flow: 9 gpm [34.1 lpm]

If your pump lines are external, you should be able to interrupt the hose going to the back and insert the loader valve in series with the pump flow.

The loader valve PB will feed the next valve.

All tank lines go to tank.

my loader is power beyond capable. i have three hose connections. two from the remotes, and one return going directly back into the tank. it sounds like i just need to interrupt the supply line from the hydrualic pump.

I have seen this pump on the rear of some tractors

High Output Hydraulic Pump for Long Tractor (778128) | LongParts.com

although there isn't alot of information on web about them. i am assuming this pump is the one that attaches on the rear above the pto like this one (not my tractor but the same model and brand)

I don't know if this pump is for a remote reservoir tank or uses the tractor hydraulics for the FEL.
Then i watched this video, and the loader doesn't have a pump or is it connected to the remotes.

I am more confused now than before i started researching

This is what you have.

A PTO pump can deliver more, but only if you did not use the PTO for other things.

the pump is not mounted on the pto, there is a plate above the pto that is removed and the pump goes in its place. it may work off another pto shaft behind that plate but i'm not sure.

Yes, I did see the pump mounted in the rear above the PTO in the picture.

The video apparently used the tractor hyd for the loader.

5 GPM will work the loader.

GPM's dictates speed, so a larger rear hyd pump would make it operate faster.

Can you determine the tractor pump output line going back to the 3pt?

the hydraulic pump is on the front of the tractor. there are two lines going to the rear hydraulic manifold. a small line and a large line. the small line is steel from the pump to the manifold. the larger line runs from the bottom of the tractor back to the pump and has one rubber coupling. i would think i need to route from the smaller line to the loader and back.
