looking at used JD 3720 or 5045E tractor

I see used John Deere 3720 tractors come and go. If you have one, what do you think of it? What kind of hours might be a problem?

ive owned a 3320 for 8 years never had any issues , only thing is there light on the back end i weighted ti down

As for the drivetrain and engine you can have thousands of hours of them without likely issues. The front wheel seals as it seems with almost all JD compacts are very likely to leak unless you vent the front axle.

just had mine repaired , one side , is there a vented dipstick ?

I looked up the specs and they look like a solid pre emission tractor with a loader that will lift about 1000 pounds to full height. Probably roughly the same as a 3046r in a new machine.
