Kubota 3700SU
I need a little help....I have a 40 acre ranch, of that 40 acres, I mow less than 10 acres of grass. The rest of the acreage is leased out to another farmer for hay and cattle. My question is that I am looking to buy a L3700SU for nothing more than to mow, scrape, and dig post holes. I realize that this is the basic, stripped-down model for Kubota, it won't turn a baler at 37hp, but it seems to do everything I need having the detachable FEL. I haven't seen any real reviews of this tractor. Any thoughts?

The dealer wants $19,500 at 0% for 60 months. The John Deere 3830 the comparable tractor (I think?), is $17,500 with around 3.9% financing for 60 months. The financing isn't as big of deal as the tractor I'm getting for what I'm paying.

Can anyone help me out?

Don't know if that's a good price or not.Your home page doe's not state where your located. Here's one of a couple Bota dealers here some TBN members have had positive buying experiances from what I've read. Barlow Equipment - Home of the Kubota Tractor Package Builder
Just trying to help like previous poster.Don't have a horse in the race.

I shoulda said that I was located in Colorado. We only have a couple true Kubota dealers here. Although, I've been searching Nebraska and Kansas, as well. I did see in other posts where people have been getting their L3700's for about a grand cheaper. It's tough but the deal, the warranty, the tractor, built in America, seems to be a tad better than JD. Thanks for the advice so far, and CRBR, you're right about that financing. I didn't think about that.

No Kubota sales in Nebraska and most Kubota tractors are made in Japan. Some implements and lawn equipment are made in U.S. (Georgia).

I now have over 60 hrs on my L3700. It has exceeded my expectations. I run an 84" rfm (befco) and it is a nice match. Also, I have run a 60" KK tiller, again it is a real nice match. I haven't tried the back hoe yet.
I want to add a hyd front blade before winter. My local dealer has been real good to work with. I realize Barlows gets alot of good press, and I am sure they are good people, but I would rather buy from someone two miles down the road even if it costs a little more. ( just my opinion ) To me the dealer is an important part of the tractor deal.

SmallTimeCountry,

I too am in Colorado (near Loveland). I just sent you a private message regarding my experiences with two dealers somewhat near me.

I have a very nice used Kubota L3710HST that I am helping a friend of mine sell. The tractor is in excellent condition w/225 hours on it.His Dad bought the tractor new and is in poor health now he just wants to sell it to help with some doctor bills. It's a hydro transmission tractor,ag tires, canopy, brush guard, excellent condition will take $10,900.00.We are in Dunn,NC and could get you a pretty good freight rate if interested. I have the pics on www.birddoggin4u.com and can send more if needed.
