I have both seat bases> I would say if you have rough terrain/holes etc yes it is worth it. It is convenient also to be able to adjust hight by easily changing air pressure
I took mine out and adapted it to the ZD 331 since that needed more help with riding smoother
I also have the air suspension seat in my cabbed L6060. It's made by Grammer and worth every penny. I'm also considering one to replace the OEM seat on my MX5800 open station.
For anyone with a bad back who logs a lot of seat time, IMO, it's a must have.
I'm probably a minority here but I don't care for the Grammer seat at all. In fact I removed it from my M9 cab tractor and replaced it with a Talon seat on the air ride base and added a swivel to it. I took the Grammer and put it on my M9 open station with a 'Seats Inc' air ride base and tossed on a water resistant overcover as it does get wet, it's an open station with a canopy.
