3 point arms bouncing while at idle, I had 6' brush hog on this am, all morning fine, driving back and hit sone rough terrain, and now 3 point arms/implement bounce while idling or just moving
The speed control affects downward motion only. If an implement drops with the speed control all the way closed the lift cyl of the 3pt is leaking.Could be - I wish I knew/understood more about the hydraulics on my tractor. For example - which control has PRIORITY on up/down movement of the 3-point. The speed control under your seat or the 3-point position control lever. On my M6040 I can raise the 3-point all the way up - close off the speed control under my seat - the position control lever will not longer control the up/down movement of the 3-point. Even with my heavy duty(1050#) Rhino 950 rear blade on the 3-point - speed control set at approximately half way - the blade will remain up for weeks, months without dropping even an inch.
But there is no question - on my tractor - you close the "speed control" completely off - the 3-point position control lever will no longer control anything.
You have ~ 2600 lift at 3pt. Course that doesnt mean you can go running around with that much on and hitting bumps. -- Still - a 6' hog would not be expected to be more than about 1K#. Pretty good safety margin. And on top of the safety factor that should be engineered into components of the 2600# capacity system.Yeah I'm pretty sure the lift cylinder is the problem, waiting to hear back from dealership, I'm afraid this won't be cheap it's 2016 with 110hrs
