Mahindra 2538B backhoe subframe

Hey guys I have an opportunity to buy a 2538 B backhoe for my mshindra 2538 but the owner of the backhoe attachment sold the subframe with the original tractor and now i'm trying to see if I can get a subframe kit from the dealership right now there looking into it, and are not sure if I can buy just a subframe kit separately, could any of you guys with the same tractor and backhoe get me some pictures of what and how it mounts so I can see if i can buy the parts individually, thank you

This sounds like it’s going to end up costing more than the original BH in time and money.
I’d focus my efforts on locating the buyer who has a subframe that he has likely taken off. It’s probably sitting in the scrap heap.
If that doesn’t work someone on here will remember the name of the company that makes the BH for Mahindra. I’ve seen it if you want to search. It’s an American company.

Yeah the company is KMW,, I just emailed them, the one dealer said $2200 for all the parts that will need to be bought separately, I thought I was getting a good deal for the backhoe at $2500, didn't expect it to cost that much for a subframe

What does a new one cost? If that one has seen little use you still may be coming out ahead vs new. I agree with RNeumann try to contact buyer that has the frame and go from there.

Well I almost made a costly mistake, I was looking at the pictures again and realized the backhoe attachment is for the cab version, it's a 2538CB, and I need a 2538B, my tractor is an open station, I've gotten quotes on new ones for around $7200, so looks like that may be my options at this point

Well if you take the plunge, make sure that price includes install because it's involved and requires heavy lifting. When it's done don't expect much performance because it's a lightweight hoe when it comes to digging stumps and stuff. Mine doesn't seem to have enough power to pull a sick ***** out of bed.

Yeah i was thinking of installing it myself, I'm cheap,,, so your not real happy with your backhoe, I currently also have a 25hp LS tractor with backhoe which would be smaller than this and i thought it did ok, aslong as I took my time, I dug a 4' water line around 70' in about 8 hrs, first time I ever used it, I really like having the backhoe attachment for small jobs such as this,and planting trees or digging footing holes,, it sure beats a shovel but it is alot of money, that's why I was excited to find a good deal on a used one, but it didn't pan out, so you just think it's under powered, my soul is very rocky with clay, only the best here in upstate NY

For trenching and stuff it's ok but it doesn't have the force required for digging stumps effectively. Even relatively small roots maxes it out, even with a ripper tooth. I suggest you have them install it. At that price you've paid for it as that is an installed price on a new tractor. If you are doing the install, I'd negotiate a better price.

I (read "we") put a Bradco 511 backhoe/subframe on my 6000 Mahindra a bunch of years ago...Its a REAL heavy duty dude...the subframe weighed more than me and the 2 good friends that helped me...the grade 8 bolts (about 14inches long) that replaced the bolts holding the fenders, etc. were somewhat of a bear...we used a "good" heavy duty impact wrench to take off the old stuff and put on the new...even if you are cheap...suggest you don't scrimp on this...it could kill you as you will be under the tractor most of the time...BobG in VA

Yeah i plan on buying the backhoe and subframe kit from the dealer as they would recieve it in a crate, I'm fairly confident I will be able to get it all mounted up, even though their will be heavy lifting involved, does anyone know if mahindra kit uses a rear remote set up for the backhoe or just breaks the 3 point hitch feed line and then reconnect when backhoe is off
