Mahindra 4500 4WD steering problems. HELP

I was pushing snow today when suddenly the steering wheel became comletely worthless. It spins freely as if it sheared a pin or the like. It has hydraulic oil in the reservoir, the wheels when lifted by the loader will turn very minimally about 1/2-3/4 inch on the steering cylinder. I can not find anything obstructing the steering linkage and it is very free for the minimal travel that I have. Need this fixed ASAP, so looking for ideas before I tear into it in the below zero barn. Seals? HSU? does anyone have a blown apart picture of the HSU so I even know what I am getting into? Wish I could offer some valuable help. I looked at the online parts diagrams (no HSU breakdown) and can't see anything obvious that would cause this problem other than little/no pressure from pump, blown cylinder seals or bad orbital valve (HSU). I see there is a seal kit for the HSU and that they offered 2 different HSU's on the 4500. I don't know what brand your valve is but I found some threads showing the guts from an Eaton valve Need help rebuilding eaton steering valve and a Danfoss valve Tractor parts and attachments: Disassembly and assembly the Orbitrol steering unit (125/160cm) and a ? brand valve Tractor parts and attachments: Disassembly and assembly the Orbitrol steering unit (80/240cm) . Most orbital valves look basically similar from the outside, hopefully they are generally similar in construction and these diagrams hejp with the Mahindra valve. Wish I could offer more help.
