I have a Ford 1215 I bought new 21 years back and now have 450 hours on the meter. I use a NH T4.75 for large work on the place. The sub compact Ford is I believe around 14 HP and is hydrostatic with 4 wheel drive and front end loader.
I have changed all fluids and filters every 200 hours and have never had a problem with the unit. Starts right up and can be run all day though it does occasionally smoke a bit from the exhaust. Medium carbon colored. Uses no oil etc.
My question is this.....Since I plan on keeping this unit indefinitely should it be taken to the dealership for something other than fluid and filter changes. Are there other adjustments that need to be done or should I leave it as is? THanks....

Get a copy of the owner's manual and follow the maintenance schedule. It may need things like valve adjustments. Which are not difficult for the home mechanic but not everyone is comfortable doing it.

450 hours over 21 years. What you are doing is working - keep doing it. Consider coolant change if you haven't already. Otherwise, I would not send it to the dealer thinking they have some 'magic' formula for tractor longevity. Keep up with fluids and filters, keep the machine inside, run it hard and fix what wears out or breaks. That'll keep her going.

I have done the coolant change twice and do keep it inside. Five years ago bought a new seat and new tires but am sadly dissapointed in the Firestone tires. Must be foreign made.....the lugs are almost totally worn down already.
Anything recommended to put in the diesel fuel? There are lots of "magic" injector cleaners on the market but I do not know if they are worth the money or actually do anything.
This was I believe the last year the "Ford" name was put on these units and I think the engine is a three
Cylinder Volvo. Need to find a manual!

I add 2 cycle in my diesel, helps quiet my 4320 down a bit, ATF can be used as an additive and will clean injectors also.

It's not a Volvo engine. That tractor and engine are made by Shibura in Japan. It should last a long time with routine maintenance.
