Oil & Fuel MF 2700e Hyduralic filter locations

I知 going crazy!!! I have a new 2706e and I知 doing my 50 hr service. Can someone tell my where BOTH hydraulic filters are located? I can only find one! Thanks

The one you can't find is probably the suction filter, it is usually located inside the transmission housing. There will be a small plug type cover over it. Mine is located on the same side as the cartridge filter and a bit to the rear. I have to remove the loader subframe element that runs from the left loader tower to the rear axle housing in order to pull the suction filter all the way out of the transmission case. The suction filter on mine just needs to be cleaned and inspected, not replaced.

I thought the same thing when i did the 50 hour service on my 2706e. I think its an issue with the wording in the owners manual. It points out the suction filter than says to replace the transmission filter with a picture. Next it says if you have the hydrostatic model there is an "additional" oil filter with a second picture. My tractor has the hydrostatic transmission and has this "additional" filter but not the first pictured transmission filter. I decided to dig into the parts manual and found in the drawings for the mechanical transmission it has only the filter in the first picture and the drawings for the hydrostatic model only show the filter in the second picture labeled "additional". So based on that i think the first filter picture in the owners manual is the filter for the mechanical transmission and the second filter picture is for the Hydrotstatic transmission, and that it does not have both.
