MF40 Hydraulic filter

My husband just got a Massey Ferguson 40 tractor. He does not know where to find the filter for the hydraulics. He is not computer savvy, and I am not tractor savvy. Can anyone provide direction/diagram/instructions on where he can the find the filter for the hydraulics on this thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome to TBN.
There were at least two Massey's with the number 40. A 1950's agricultural tractor and a later industrial tractor (usually yellow).

I would suggest trying to find the service and operator's manuals for whichever one you have, which will answer your question if no one here can. Plus you are likely to have other questions in the future which you can look up. You can usually find a pdf download either paid or free for most manuals. Or an original or photocopied, hard copy on ebay.
