here is mine. been using it to backfill tile ditches at the farm and digging stuff out of the garden. 23 hp, BIG learning curve on how to ride a wild bull without falling off all the time.

The minis are very close in price to a full size skid steer. They have a use case for fitting in back yards that are only accessible through small gates. But for that kind of money, it might be possible to buy an articulating tractor from Power-Trac. I understand the PT-425 is popular with some tree guys and landscapers.

Dad’s mini skid steer was $38,000. His mini is 3600 pounds and diesel powered. You can get a smaller gas version for considerably cheaper. A ssv75 Kubota wheeled machine will be low 50,000s open station and around $60,000 with a cab. A 75-3 with tracks is mid to upper 60s open station and mid 70s with a cab. But high 30s will definitely get you a nice used full sized skid steer.
