I noticed on my new / previously owned 790 some minor wheel rust on the rear tires. Near a seam weld opposite the valve stems on both rear tires.
I tapped the valve stems on both tires and got a clear liquid. It was slightly tacky on the fingers after drying with a mild salty taste. Obviously the R-4 tires are filled. Check the fronts and they were not filled.
My questions are.
1. Is this a calcium chloride solution?
2. Should I be concerned about the rust?
Thanks.
