I have a small nursery that I need to advertise sells from time to time. That being said ,I have a 4'x8' flashing sign.I 've been loading this sign(heavy) on a small trailor to move it to the road when I have a sell.I was thinking there has got to be a way to have away to use my 3 point hitch to move this each time.I'm trying to come up with a old discarted implement
(cheap) to convert this to use a platform or rails to do this.Any ideas?
thanks,
tony

My feeble mind, when it encounters a problem like this, always goes to a carry-all. :) They're cheap and adaptable. You can make some kind of holder out of wood for the sign since it is much bigger than the carryall.

How about finding an old pop up style camper (or other small trailer), gutting it down to the frame and mounting your sign to it. Then you can get an easy mover hitch (or something similar) for your tractor to move your sign around as well as other trailers! EZmover Tractor Hitch

I forgot to mention, if you go with the easy mover hitch you'll need one of these GENERAL - Hitch Drawbars , which you can get at any farm store. If you go to the Tractor by net store you can get a discount on the hitch! Good luck!

Erick, I like your idea better.
In my neighborhood you need a zoning permit for a sign. If it has wheels and a license plate, then it's a trailer... no sign permit required!

Why not just mount your sign to a hand made wood skid, just drag it out when you need it?

After all the ideas,I think to carry-all will do the job.T.S.C. has one for$119.00.I'm going to look for a old used one.I can mount some 2x6 to extend the frame to bolt it on,so it won't blow over.
thanks
