Mounting a weed trimmer to your zero turn mower

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine at work has a zero turn mower, and would like to find a way to carry his weed trimmer around when he mows. Any suggestion?

Don't have any ideas without seeing the mower. I've seen several mounted to the rollbar or even the front above the casters. I've seen people try to trim without getting off, that is usually fun to watch.

I want a mower mounted trimmer like the one in the link. I think it would work great for trimming under my pine trees.

Wrong idea. He wants to mount his handheld weed trimmer so he can have it with him when he needs to stop to trim something.

Funny..I have a zero turnWalker mower and wanted to attach a weed wacker to it as well. I had thought about putting 2 hooks on the side of the plastic grass collection hopper on the back. But then realized it would stick out 12" or so it ha trimm r mounted..and I could only use 1 side of the deck to get close to walls. ..scrapped that plan shortly after.

I saw a guy mowing at a park here in town and he had a weed eater attached to the back of the roll bar on something that reminded me of a bracket designed for carrying a rifle in the back window of a truck. It stuck out quite a bit, but it was a park and there was a lot of open space.

Yeah, I'd be worried about mounting it cross-wise and going through a narrow spot. Could be quite eye-opening.
