2003 NH TC30
I have a 2003 NH TC 30. Great tractor, but due to my arthritis, it feels more cramped than it did when I got it. Today- after bush hogging my back field and neighbor's field this week, I finally decided to move the seat back. I was tired of sitting on the fender and standing as I drove- though the visibility is great! In a TC 30 the seat slider holds the flip up seat, and is bolted to a plate about 8x12, that bolts to the tractor. I re-positioned the seat slider back an inch and a half with 4 new holes in the plate. Where the plate bolts on- there are two clearance holes near the top. I had to drill two more. I put it together and it works great. -Been planning to do this for a year now!

Same year and model here , ( thinking it is same year ??? ) but know what your saying . For neighbor , his wife and my wife it works fine , for me though , my longer legs get cramped . So my scenario is like this , live with me being cramped or 3 others whining about not being able to reach pedals , steering wheel , etc ... . In the factory position , they need it almost all the way forward , so moving it back any like you did would help me physically but not mentally . I chose to live with the occasional leg cramping or stiffness rather than the whining .
