2013 Kubota B2920
Mowing yard with belly mower on low. Heavy grass, so I raised deck with black lever on right side. Deck came up but will not go back down. Mowing with deck up is great for pasture but I'd like it down for the yard. Neighbor has been mowing for me. Tractor has about 100 hours, mows great. Operator manual only covers tractor not the mower deck. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated. Tractor is perfect for my 10 acres. Tractor has HST hydrostat transmission. Hydraulic front end loader works. Mower deck lever has 2 settings, up and down. Thank you.

What does your dealer say? Is this your original purchase? Sorry, I can't help with your lever function.

If you are referring to a 2013 Kubota B2920 MMM, it should have a MMM deck setting knob on the left center floor that allows adjustment of the MMM from 1 thru 4 inches. Otherwise I can't help either. Welcome to TBN Okie.

Thanks, Kansan, I used to live in Pittsburg. A guy moved every movable item on my tractor and tightened the 1-4 inch Heifetz adjustment knob so tight, I can't turn it. The deck up down lever is on the right. Lever is movable, but deck does not move. Dealer is NOT helpful - that's an under statement, but there are other Kubota dealers in the area. I'm grateful for my neighbor mowing my yard but don't want to take advantage of his kindness. He won't even let me give him gas money for his riding mower.

Hum-m-m-. The only idea I have is to turn the "Heifetz" knob with a pair of lock joint pliers to the height desired. It should go up/down to that height. Also, if your three point is working i.e. ...Up/Down,,,,,,,then that MMM should also go Up/Down. Otherwise there is something wrong with the hydraulics which beyond my knowledge.

Cheers,
Mike

THanks, Mike. I can use channel lock to turn the cutting height. I don't think the deck up do wn lever is hydraulic.
I'll try calling another Kubota dealer. I apologize for the typos, I'm on a too small keyboard.

I don't have B2920 but I'm reasonably sure you will have to make sure you have the mower deck fully raised (hydraulic lever all the way back) before you will be able to turn the center knob.

You need to use the lever on the right to lift the deck all the way up (all the way back), then you should be able to turn the numbered knob to a smaller number.
Then turn the "fast/slow" knob all the way to "fast" and use the lever on the right to lower the deck (push the lever all the way forward).
If the fast/slow lever is all the way to slow, it will prevent the 3point from lowering which will prevent the deck from lowering.

Geeze, I forgot all about the fast/slow knob....It's been set where I want it so long, I forgot it was there. The OP should have her problem resolved with the above suggestions.

TBN'ers all help out.

Cheers,
Mike
