My Golf Cart Top -> Tractor Top build

If anything ever happens to my canopy I'll be replacing it with a golf cart top for sure. It might even look less goofy on my tiny tractor!

I'm sure I could come up with a way to mount it with the existing mounts.

Hey there is nothing wrong with that canopy & it looks pretty good & it beats no canopy at all & it's functional & it looks like You'll be in good shape as far as bracing for a replacement .

I'm looking for brackets myself.....
The only thing I might suggest is try & find aluminum brackets & braces & tubing & find a canopy that will work with your rops bar & design everything around it & the aluminum is a weight saver & might be cheaper than metal or steel & use square tubing:cool:.

Oh I'm quite happy with it, and the $3XX was a drop in the bucket on my whole financed package. I just love me some low budget DIY stuff that turns out great!

Several have exclaimed that it looks silly, but I'm not interested in my tractor winning any beauty pageants.

I wanted my tractor to be 100% how I want it the day I took ownership. I tend to always buy minimally up front and upgrade later as funds allow. I didn't want to do that this time.

I'm guessing your going to put this on your M-F 2410:unsure:? Look at replies from other TBN members & there pictures that should help You with how to proceed with how You want to do your bracing:cool:.

Price update on golf cart canopy I was last at $337.00 for the project, I had to get another wiring harness & decided to add side view mirrors to the forward brace new total at 365.00 & project is not completed, I'll post pictures when completed of the led lights working as well as the final wiring hook up stay tuned;).

Hey guys It's all done The only addition I put on was a old Dremel case to run excess wiring, relays & fuse blocks in & it can be opened & closed as needed & I drilled in drain hole it the bottom & holes for the wiring looms to go in & out  The pictures IMHO are not that great I took them with my lap top & the hardest part of the whole project was the wiring & routing it to where there would be no issues clearance or rubbing against branches etc. & the radio I bought was way better than I thought it would be & the tractor engine could not drown outIMG_20210723_193809.jpg&

I know that this is an old thread, but it still warrants a look. I like it. Considering how much tractor canopies cost, this is a very cost effective alternative. Very cool.
