Just curious - is the heater completely electric or is there some other science behind it? Looks like there are a couple hydraulic hoses coming into the bottom of it in the first pic - maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

The Curtis cab heaters are just like an automotive one, they use heated engine coolant circulated through a heater core to heat the cab. The electric to it would be for a fan to force air through it, also like an automotive unit.

Depending on how it was installed, they can make the cab warm (hot) in the warmer weather to . It depends on were the hookup was done off the engine as sometime the heater can be bypassed or the coolant flow to it can be shut off in the warm months.

Congratulations on your great setup! The pictures have been great too. Could you tell me what the height over the highest point on the cab is? Thanks.

From the floor to the highest point on the cab is 79 inches without the lights. If you need more info just ask.

I did a little modification to my cab this summer. I've move my hazard light to the top of my cab, so that way I won't break them if I get to close of the snowbank.

Thanks, that is what I needed. With lights it will probably not fit through my garage doors....... guess it will have to stay at your place! :D Kidding aside, I have been shopping, but hadn't been able to find that information.
