My new farm truck

I have a 97 C2500 GMC with the 6.5L diesel in it. Love the truck. It's white with the all vinyl interior (even the floor). It is a true farm truck as you can do anything with it, get in it greasy, flog it, beat it, and as long as you maintain it, it'll love you for it.

Like your find. Flatbed looks great!

Nice truck.

Fix the power steering/break issue, a little paint on the bed & boxes, and she will be as good as new!

A little update on my truck! I got the engine oil changed the air filter and fuel filter changed too! I checked the trans it was full and the front and rear diff were full also! Grandpa went to a salvage yard and got a factory radio for it so I have a radio now! He also got a gauge cluster for it because the fuel gauge dose not work. New one didn't work either. So it must be the sending unit but what tank dose it run off if? Still can't see where the power steering is leaking tho! Its wet on the front cross member and around the wires underneath the hydra boost? But when I fill it up I have power steering and breaks! So that's a plus!

Well I think I narrowed down my leak to the power steering pump itself. Had to take the skid plate off to see but I'm sure that's where its coming from! Got a new inside door handle installed too! So no more rolling down the window to get out! Cleaned out almost a full black trash bag out of that truck also! Do have to get a new blower motor for it tho only works on high and rattles like crazy!

If the door pins & bushings have not been replaced go ahead and do that 2 I've been told pins & bushings being worn lead to door handle breaking.

Yeah I was looking at that today noticed the pins were still red so I'm guessing there the original ones thanks for the info I'll be sure to do that!

My trucks odometer and fuel gauge don't work either. I stop and re-fuel often to be on the safe side.
