Soon I will stop making so many new posts, I promise.
I was just looking over my tractor, and I noticed a rubber O-ring that was around the piston shaft between the bucket and the hydraulic piston. I am guessing that it belongs just inside the end of the piston body, and somehow worked its way out.
My first inclination was to gently press it back into the piston main body and hope it stays there (I may help clean the piston shaft?). But I figured I would ask all of you first.
Is this an unusual occurance? Does it have any implications for the life of the hydraulic element? Should I just try to reseat it into the head of the piston body?
Thanks again.
