With that drum mower I'd definitely get a cab for whatever tractor you finally select.
And with 50 acres of hayfield, I'd be in the 70-80hp range.
Find a dealer nearby who can give you quick and reliable maintenance and repair support.

HMM... thanks everyone for the posts so far!

I went to look at the new Cabellas 75HP tractors last night, they look pretty good.

Found a 2013 Case 75C today... 300 hours... loader, 12 spd power shuttle, cab, loaded.... $36,500 + $500 to deliver it to me (it's a long ways away). Still under warranty

Still lots to think about.

Well,...I bought the 2013 Case 75C. Should be delivered in a few days. Deal ended up being just too good to pass up and the ironic bit of it is that my dad has a 2012 75C on his farm...i had totally forgotten what model his was. I think it will work great for me. I can't thank everyone enough for all the discussion and comments in this thread. I wouldn't have even been looking at the Case had someone not said it was the same as the T4 series that i had been originally researching.
