Hello all, I am a newbie to the hydraulics area of tractors and I could use some advice. I have a New Holland TZ25DA without any additional hydraulics installed beyond the 3 point hitch valve. I recently acquired an old FEL off of a Farmall C tractor. This was operated using a belt driven pump and a tank mounted to the loader frame running into a "FPA" valve that has an "IN" and an "OUT" port that were plumbed to the pump and tank respectively. There are 4 ports on top of the valve that are attached to the loader pistons. I have eliminated the pump and tank from the loader, fabricated mounts, and have the loader installed on my tractor. Now want to plumb the loader valve to my tractor's built in pump. I have read as much as I can find on my tractor's built in hydraulic ports and I know I have a "Power Beyond" and a "Pressure" located on the 3 point hitch valve and a "Tank" port located on the transmission. I have looked at the factory loader and a couple aftermarket loaders and they utilize all three of these ports with their loaders (they have a joystick type valve) but I don't think my loader's valve can do this because I have no third port available. So short of buying a different valve how should the lines be run? I think that I can just run a line from the "Power Beyond" to the "IN" on my valve and a line from the "OUT" on my valve to the "Tank" port and not use the "Pressure" port. Does this sound right? I have included a rough drawing of what I have to work with.
Thank you in advance!
