Need HELP with Ford 1720 Front Axle Seal replacement

Hello again, I am looking for the wisdom of others before deciding whether or not to try this on my own. I have a Ford 1720 with 3300 hours on it. Its been a great tractor and . On my front axle final reduction drive, I have a leak where the upper casing meets the lower casing. See the attached Parts Diagram.

From looking at the diagram, it appears there is a seal and bearing at this point which is where the leak is. I am wondering how hard it is to replace this seal (and probably the bearing as well)?

Has anyone done this on their own and how big of a job is it?

Does anyone have any photos of how they did this project? A picture is always worth a thousand words.

I tried to find other posts on this subject but didn't see any for the Ford 1720 (if I missed a post, please point it out). I would appreciate any advice from all the good folks out here on TBN.

I did this on my Ford 1710. Not too hard of a job. We kept the bearing and replaced the seal. Had to drain the hydraulic fluid obviously. Use of floor jack to move parts up and down, and set the piece and the seal back together on reinstallation. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the process. Be careful when torquing things down. I read a value wrong and stripped a bolt. Luckily just the littlest piece was exposed and I was able to spin it out with a vice grip.

Moojamboo, did you ever end up fixing that seal on your 1720? I have the same tractor and the same seal went bad. If you fixed it by yourself could you give me a little info on how to do it? Thanks a lot
