I called my local Massey dealer today to get some pricing on the rear remote kit for my 1533. Apparently, they only have a dual remote kit and it's $1887!
Is that all? I replied to the salesmen. LOL Apparently, since the kit was transferred from sales to parts, it's gone up in price by around $500.
So, I'm wondering if there's a cheaper, online vendor for the kit?
Alternatively, can I rig my own? It wouldn't be a nice, tied into the transmission kit like the MF one, but I was in TSC today and saw they have single and dual hydraulic switches on sale ($99 and $199, respectively). I can get the hoses and whatever connectors I like and be out of there for $250 - $500 (single remote or dual remote). I'd have to make a mounting bracket for it and MacGyver it in there somewhere and then tie into the existing hydraulic system... and hence my second question - if possible to do so, how would I tie into the current system (tractor came with the 1525 loader)?
