Since my MF 202 has a little braking power, I am attempting to do a brake job. I am having problems removing the drums, which I assume they haven't been removed for the last 100 years. I made the turn wheel adjustment so that the drums turn freely, removed the two slotted screws, hit it with the hammer every which way still no budging.
I noticed there are two 3/8" (?) threaded holes on the face of the drums, which I assume is a place for a puller. I haven't done that yet. I am also wondering, if heat has to be applied, where you would direct the flame in the vicinity of the lug bolts? I would rather not do the heat job if I don't have to.
It doesn't appear to be an oil leak so the shoes should be pretty dry.
I would really appreciate some suggestions.

BTW, are tractor brakes more sluggish than non-power conventional car brakes, or are they more compatible to car hand brakes?

Those 3/8 holes you mentioned maybe retainer screws that hold the drum in place while the wheel is off. I can't say for sure. If you don't have a service manual, go to

www.agcopartsbook.com and sign in as GUEST then enter the Brand and model in appropriate fields. Then a menu will come up to view areas of interest. You will also be able to obtain part numbers you will need if buying replacement parts.

Mind you. You must be using Internet Explorer with Silverlight installed. Silverlight is Microsofts version of Adobe. Without Silverlight you will not be able to see the scalable illustrations associated with part numbers.

If there is either one or two slotted screws still on the face of the brake drum, then those retainer screws are still there. They get rust frozen and some mechanics throw them away because the are a PITA to remove. If the screws are indeed gone you might just need a metal hammer to jar them lose and come off towards you. Without a manual, be sure to take pictures before disassembly. The above info is relating to my 135 as to the way things are put together. Brakes are still pretty basic. Good luck.

The 3/8" holes I was referring are blind holes, as I said, most likely are for a pulley, which I will try eventually. The two slotted retainer screws came out fine. I do have a manual but in my case right now, it is not much help. Thanks for tip.
