I am reminded of the cartoon where the guy is selling his motorcycle and tells the prospective buyer, "Apparently "DO WHATEVER YOU WANT" means something different to women than men. So yes, we all have to put up with some idiocy from the wife from time to time and the old adage about women changing their minds is quite applicable to daily life. I think the only reason women sleep is so they can dream up something different for each new day. I don't know how single women ever make a decision since each day is a new decision.

Well, the tension is palpable.
We have begun "negotiations" on buying the house.
The seller has stated that he will bring the pool up to operational status, including replacing the vinyl liner.
So we are kind of hunkering down waiting on a response to the offer we submitted to the seller's real estate agent.
We all feel sorta like the crew of a submarine in old movies where they are all looking up, holding their breath, waiting for a depth charge to explode.:scratchchin::m1helmet:

Around here there is often people looking to get rid of fill for free. My neighbor has gotten uncountable loads (tandems) and my friend got about 10-15 tandems.
Ironically, sometimes the fill is from Built-in-pool construction.

Here's another thought about getting free fill that worked for me. Local road was being widened, allot. Asked site manager what they had planned to get rid of all the extra dirt. He said they were paying to dump it at a local place. Told him I could use a couple hundred yards to fill a swale also that I was closer. He asked about access came over looked had his guys truck in loads of dirt for free. He said just let them know when to stop.

That is how I got the dirt for my first back stop....only the wife asked them about it. I always accuse her of wiggling her tail at them.
