It's a really nice day so I figured I'd try to mount the 62" mower under my new 2320.
I quickly realized I do not have the front bracket to mount the mower. The salesman told me all the stuff I need is there to mount it but he is WRONG, I need the LVB24899 bracket to get it hooked up.
Then I figured I'd use the 647 tiller that they had already mounted on the tractor. I made it a couple feet and the PTO driveshaft slipped apart at the center spline AAARRRRGGGG.
I'm assuming it is the wrong shaft or I need a spacer or something?
All I know is that it is WRONG.

I sure hope the snowblower is right.

I'd call the dealer, have them come to your house and get it right. I would think the dealer would have mounted the MMM before delivery.

Dealer service seems to suck on just about everything now a days.

I love the tractor but the sales/service experience so far has been the worst I have ever had. I waited several months and from what I can tell the snowblower is the only thing they got right. The mower and tiller are both incomplete and/or wrong parts used.

Does anyone know if the pto shaft on the tiller has a part number on it somewhere?
I tried to call the salesman all last week and I left messages for him to call me back, I still havent heard from him.
So far I need
1- the front bracket for the mower
2- the correct pto shaft for the tiller
3- independant lift kit and attaching parts for the mower
4- manual for the mower that they didnt give me
5- manual for the snowblower that they didnt give me

I think the snowblower is done correctly but I will not be surprised if parts fly everywhere when I try to use it after my experience with the other two attachments.
I guess maybe 1 out of 3 being correct isnt bad haha

I should also mention that from here on out I will be doing the work on the tractor myself.
I told them from the start that I could mount everything myself if they just bring the parts I need to do it.
They have proven to me that if I want it done right I should just do it myself.

I bought a FEL in a crate and installed it myself on my BX, but it wasn't purchased at the time of the tractor.

But if this was a new package, I personally don't quite understand why all this wasn't assembled and checked out at the time of delivery. Seems a bit odd, that's all.

I'm gonna still leave it at "congrats, that's a beautiful rig" and hope we hear something positive from you soon.

A week of messages and no response from dealer. Have you considered calling the manager at the dealer?

Good luck!

The rear PTO shafts are generic, and often to long so they need to be cut to fit properly-sounds like they cut your to short OR you added an iMatch after the fact which move the tiller rearward about 4". You can but an extension shaft for about $20, but they need to get you a new shaft.

1. Since you have the front QH (quick hitch) for the snowblower, they you should already have the LVB24895 bracket, it mounts up between the frame rails with the same 8 bolts that hold the brush guard. To mount the MMM you will need part # LVB24899, it hangs in the LVB24895 bracket and provides the support for the front draft arms of the MMM. Without the QH, there are just two simple brackets mounted-but you have to remove them when you attach the LVB24895 that holds the QH.

2. See first paragraph

3. That I cannot help with, I am only familiar with the regular lift tied to the 3PH.

5. Not available online, sorry.

At delivery the dealer should have provided all manuals and showed you how to mount and dismount all attachments. That's how I would do it if I were a JD dealer.

You need to review this video on PTO shafts, Measure and Cut Tractor PTO Shaft - Everything Attachments.com how to measure to insure you have the correct one installed. I would view the video, make the measurements as described and then talk to the dealer, not salesman, not service manager. Several people have damaged the PTO, rear PTO gear box and housing with an improper PTO shaft. You were lucky if the only thing that happened was the PTO shaft separated.
