New 3720 Cab with 7 Iron 72" MMM

Just took delivery of new JD 3720 Cab and new 7 Iron 72'' mid-mount mower. According to mower Operator's Manual, the front upstop clearance is to be set to 1/8 inch in raised position by adjusting the two rear yokes. I've adjusted the yokes to where there is only about 1/2 inch of threads remaining and the upstop clearance is at 1-1/4 inches. The MMM s/n is M00072D331540. I'm wondering if this is the correct mower for this tractor as I cannot adjust/raise the deck to full up position. Or, does this mower just ride low to the ground when fully up? TIA for your help. Does anyone have a 72" 7-Iron MMM on a JD 3720? If so, what is the approx distance/gap at the Upstop (between tractor and deck) in fully raised position? The book calls for 1/8 inch and there is no way mine can be adjusted to this -- instead mine is approx 1-1/2 inch and deck wheels are just off the ground (pavement). Thanks.
