I had considered the Kioti CK series but the cracked loader problem caused me to disregard the CK as a viable option. In my view that was a serious problem and, as I understand it, one that still has not been completely addressed by Kioti. That would have driven me crazy-I don't need problems like that.

You are correct that some of the older loaders have not yet been fixed by Kioti. The new CK tractors should be sold with the "B" version loaders though which have a more traditional design that is better reinforced against the stress cracks that affected the older ones.

I purchased a 2008 B series 2620 a couple of weeks ago. The dealership just received the tractor, but is still waiting on the LA364 FEL and 60" belly mower. Hopefully these won't be delayed for long. I'm a new-b when it comes to tractors (this is my first), but I took a couple of months doing a little research before my purchase. The 2620 seems like a really good tractor, it is a slight step up from the 7610 with some additional aesthetic features (the cup holder sold me). It痴 also a little taller, wider, longer and faster, it has a new instrument panel, the three speed trans , and a different hydraulic set up for the FEL. It only cost me $300 more than a 2007 7610 (I was told that the new tractor is more expensive but the new FEL is a bit cheaper). I only have 4 acres residential to use it on and I think I'll be happy with it.

Is the quarter inching over position control a big deal? I guess for me, I probably won't know the difference as this will be the only tractor I will use.

Any recommendations on grapples for the FEL? I don't want to modify my new tractor to much to accommodate the grapple, but this looks like a useful tool.

Congratulations and welcome!

Could you please give some details as to the breakdown of the price of tractor, fel and MMM.

Thanks

Ooh, pictures, pictures, pictures. You may be the only TBN member who's not with a dealership who's seen one of these in person. So we need lots of photos! And don't wait until the rest of the attachments come in - we're not that patient. :D

Oh, and welcome to TBN. What part of the country are you located? Maybe that one dealer that told me his new Bs were due in within a couple of weeks wasn't that far off.

ATI is one company that makes bolt-on grapples. They don't have the QA designed yet because they're still waiting to see one of the new loaders, but they will get to it, if you're interested in that also - probably will be the pin-type QA.

I only spent a day with the 1/4 inching valve on a B7800 rental last fall, and didn't find it to be that bad. It was actually better than the valve on my subcompact.

I've been tractorless since last June, and aside from a few weeks last fall on some rentals, that's a really, really, really, really long time.

I'm an addict and I need tractor ****! And lots of it! :D

I know the feeling! I sold my BX about the same time. I've been holding off on buying something else to see what these new Kubotas bring, and it has been a long wait!

Pics! We need pics!!!

Thank you for the welcomes and the info of on the grapple.

I'm in Central Florida and I've had the new catalogue in hand now for about three weeks, the dealer gave it to me. When I purchased the tractor they told me mid to late Feb for delivery. I'm sad to say that I don't have the tractor in my possession yet, it痴 still in a crate at the dealership. Hopefully its gets assembled this week and I will go up there and take some pics. I'm going to let the dealer hang on to it until they get the FEL (he said next week) then delivery will be shortly after. The only snag is that I also wanted the belly mower, but he said that may not be until March. No big deal I will not need it until then, but I wanted to finance the whole thing (the tractor, FEL, and mower). If I take delivery of the tractor with FEL I will have to pay cash for the belly mower (again no big deal, but why use my money up front when I can use Kubota痴 credit, interest free). Oh well.

I hope I don't cause any issues by posting my price. I see there are dealers that use this site also. ****, my price may not be all that great-I don't know.

B2620 with LA364 $13,700
60' Belly Mower $2100
4' A&B Boxblade $400
4' SQ148 Bush Hog $1000
Putting away at least half of my manual yard tools for good-Priceless!!!!!!

I was also quoted about $1000 below and above for the 2320 and 2920; respectively.

Welcome Bota. I was at the 'Bota dealer nearby 2 weeks ago and was looking at gear tractors like the 7610 or John Deere 790/3005. The 'Buto dealer talked to me about the hydros so we are now considering them and like the idea of a 3 speed range in a hydro. Looks like you got a lot of machine for the money. Almost 18k for a JD2320 I priced.

Thanks and again welcome. We also really do need some pics, and soon:D

Hey Bota,

Did you give any consideration to the 5' Bush Hog, or did your dealer tell you that would be too much for that machine to handle?

By the way, thanks for the numbers. I don't understand why they can't put the mower on your ticket - is it because they don't have a serial number? You'd think that they would have a way around that in situations where a new model and its attachments is in limited supply.
