After months of waiting, I've finally taken delivery of a new Branson 5520CH tractor with BL200SL Self-Leveling Loader. Picked up the tractor on Oct 18, 2020. After a test drive, loading it on the trailer, and unloading at the property, total of ~3 hours runtime thus far.
The self-leveling loader is less than $1K above the cost of the standard BL200 loader. Both loaders are available for the 5520 (and previous generation 5220), but most dealers don't mention the SL option unless you ask, as it's relatively new. If you're paying cash, the standard loader is free ("instant loader rebate"), and the SL option is just the difference in cost between the two (BL200 vs BL200SL).
The rear fenders on the 5520 cab models are plastic just like Kioti and Kubota.
I'm starting to see references to the 5520 with year 2021, suggesting Branson may fully document and announce the new model next year. As of October 2020, the new model tractor still doesn't have a place on the product line-up at the Branson main web site.
