I have been looking at the different colors around the 20 HP range (blue, red, orange, green). I am just curious what the prices would be for equally equipped machines: All the machines would be hydro, with industrial tires, and 4x4.

TC21D with FEL, backhoe, mmm, and pallet forks

TC24D with FEL, backhoe, mmm, and pallet forks

DX25 with FEL, backhoe, mmm, and pallet forks

How much more is a TC24D than a TC21D? I have heard that the price difference is minimal. Also, what would the price difference be on the DX25 versus the TC21D or TC24D? Does either machine have the "aerodynamic" looks on the FEL or is it the traditional look? Not a real biggy, but I'm a stickler for details. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

JayC,
You may or may not know this already, but the DX25 has been discontinued. The smallest model in that frame size (class II) is the DX29. The new loader for the class II machines does have the "aerodynamic" look, it's called the LX114.

I'm sorry I can't help you with any prices.

I should also mention that CaseIH has a DX24 (similar to the TC24D) in the Class I size. The loader for this class (LX112) also has the "aerodynamic" look.

The price difference between the TC21 and TC24 is only about $300. For prices on New Holland tractors you might want to look at Corrihers Tractors on Ebay. They post their prices for many different sizes, they almost always have a 24 on there.

I believe I paid $10,600 (delivered) with Hydro for my TC24D early this year. No FEL on that tractor. I got it from a local dealer.

I paid 16,500 including tax for a 24D w/ hydro, 60" MMM Rear Discharge, and the 12LA "aerodynamic" loader. Was about $500 more than the best price I had found for a Kubota B7500. I believe the tractor was <10,500. Oh, forgot that included delivery and pick-up delivery for all warranty work.

Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't know the DX25 was discontinued. It is still listed on the Case website... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Anywho, I am no where near able to get one right now, but am hoping against hope to get one in 6-12 months. But it is fun looking! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I have learned a LOT, and 99.9% of it here on TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Does anyone know how much the DX29 is?

I looked at a TC24D with a FEL and 60" MMM over the weekend. It has 60 hours on and 2 1/2 years remaining on the powertrain warranty. The bucket doesn't look like it was ever used because it has very few scatches on it.

The dealer is asking $14,600 for it. I asked him to give me a quote on it with a rear blade (BEFCO 72" or 84") for plowing snow and a rear work light.

He called with the following offer. $14,950 delivered and serviced. Is this a fair price.

From a previous post this doesn't seem to bad. What does the group think?

The rear light cost me $35. The mounting bracket was about $5. So that means the Befco blade is going to cost you $340. I have a Befco finish mower and it is built like a tank. I have never seen one of their blades, but if it is built like my mower, it is easily worth the $340. The mower deck is something north of $2000, maybe even higher than $2500. The FEL is another few grand. So all considered, I'd say that this is a good deal. Maybe a darn good deal. The tractor is basically new. The warrenty is in tact and the majority of it is available to you.

Corriher quote. TC24D with 60" MMM, a Brush Hog FEL and a 72" rear blade for $16,765 plus $400-$600 freight. No sales tax.

I know what choice I would make. I always try to buy new, but 60 hours is new in my book. I'd take the used tractor in a heartbeat.
