New Holland TC25d stuck in reverse

Manual transmission is stuck in reverse. H/M/L range shifts, clutch works and tractor starts even though tractor is in reverse gear. Tractor does move in reverse. How do I get it unstuck?

Is there free play in the shifter or is it locked in reverse with no play.
