Hi all
I am the new (and happy) owner of a BX25, with FEL and Backhoe. Had it delivered last Tuesday. Just starting to find my way around using it, and so far it has been a joy. I've read most of the posts relating to this little gem, and hopefully will contribute as time goes on.
Primary use for now will be moving large rocks, lifting logs and moving brush to my burn pile. I'm sure the longer I have it, the more things I will find to use it for. Two things I am going to do right away is to fabricate some forks, and make a Thumb for the Backhoe. Several of the posts here regarding the Thumb have opened my eyes to expanding the utility of the backhoe, and since I am financially "tapped out" right now, I will build those two items myself. I have a substantial home machine shop, so am well equipped to build just about anything I need. Still not decided on the actual design of the Thumb, but have copied all the Pix I could find, along with bookmarking the various threads.
Glad to be a member of this great group
