Hello All,

Just dropping in to say hello with my first post as a new member. Wanted to say thanks to all folks who contribute as moderators and admin for providing this site as a great resource for the tractor community.

Have a Kubota L3700SU, matching FEL with QD 66" bucket, and Woods PRD-7200 finish mower scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning. Have a Woods BB and QD Pallet Forks on order.

Thanks to all, now let's get out there and play...er, I mean get to work with our tractors :).

Hey teg, what sleep tonight? :D I was looking at your post about adding hydraulic controls and may need to study this further as I am feeling the addition of "TnT" in my future.

I had a Kubota L3710 that I had for about 6 years and sold in 2006 when I had to sell my house and 47 acres in northern Wisconsin. I really hated to part with that tractor, but I was in a tough spot due to having to relocate to Virginia for work. Finally bought a new house in North Carolina a couple months ago, which included 8 acres of land. Hey, a good excuse to buy a new tractor :drink: !

Enjoy your new tractor. I just bought one like it. Can't wait until the grass grows just to try out the mower. I put bucket teeth on mine and it'll clear an old fence row with little effort.

Thought it was time to update with some pictures and list of chores my Kubota has helped accomplish. I've got about 20hours of seat time so far.

- used FEL to dig out and move an 18ft ditch drain culvert
- used FEL to move about 25 bags hardened 60-80lbs sakrete bags (used on culvert ends...discovered a black widow spider on that job :D)
- used FEL to dig out and rip out (using bucket hooks and chain) some buried chainlink fence and then graded surface
- used FEL to build 3 raised garden beds, hauled topsoil and mulch
- used FEL to haul several yards of topsoil and mulch for garden and landsacape projects around the house
- used FEL to help neighbor move piles of mulch and topsoil (several yards) for his home projects
- used 6ft finish mower to mow 2-3 acres around my house several times (2-3 hours per mowing job)
- etc, etc, etc...

Nothing but good things to say about the tractor, the mower, and the quick attach bucket. Highly recommend the QA bucket option, opens up new possibilities for not much extra money (also much more expensive to add this upgrade later on). I took the whole loader off for mowing the first time when things were still wet this spring, since then I just drop the bucket when I mow. This saves time removing and installing loader, while still dropping about 200 pounds and providing better visability and maneuverability for mowing. Also, removing and installing the bucket (takes maybe 1 minute) is much easier and hassle free compared to removing and installing entire FEL.

Looks pretty awsome  How do you like the 3 point stabilizer upgrade? Does it keep things tight?
