At the 'bota dealer today getting my new zg23 tweaked up for spring and test drove the new L4240 hydro 4x4 tractor with R4's. it is a thing of beauty. every control is right where you would want it to be. Now I have a L4200 GST and have never been a fan of hydro tractors but i am sold on this tractor. my heart is still beating fast. it has 3 ranges plus a hi/low elect. range right where the reverser would be it has crouise control lever right next to the range lever. I have to get one!! i pushed some snow around with it in the parking lot and it is so smooth. it has a little electronic knob on the dash that you can adjust the sensitivity of the hydro pedal exactly the way you want it.

I'm still waiting on my dealer to get one in to check out. Right now it is between a 4240 and JD 4120. Glad it sounds like a good machine.

I drove an L5740 around the lot the other day using all modes of the transmission. A little much for me but I am now soooo close to getting the L5240 w/cab I can taste it. I'll decide by the end of the week but won't actually purchase until sometime in April. Dealer told me to wait and see what incentives Kubota will have startiing in April. Since my wife is away in Brasil there is no one but my banker stopping me.
