New Member from Northern Virginia

Welcome to TBN. I'm another person from Northern Virginia. SWMBO and I put in our time while living on a 1/4 acre lot and are now retiring to Northern Mississippi w/ about 400 acres of mostly forest.
Hope your commute is not to bad. That's what absolutely killed living rural in Northern Virginia for me. My associates who "enjoyed" their farmettes all had a 30 mile one hour commute. I had a 1 mile 3 minute commute.

62 miles, hour and a half. I 66 or I 95. Prime conditions of course, beginning of rush hour. That's 4am for you rural folks, or just when the cows start mooing.

One has to learn how-to adapt those farm skills, "early rising", "master of all trades", "full of energy" into the commute and professional life. LOL!
