I've considered building a cab on my Ford. I'd do Jeep style hinges so all the panels could be removed leaving a four post canopy.

Yeah,mine turns into 6 post canopy when all the panels are removed.

Wow, big job. That must make the OP smile every time he sees it now. Love the cab, it has a profile similar to an Amish buggy.

Now that you mention it does bear similarity to an Amish buggy.
I finished the door installation, heat, and and interior led strip light. Christmas ornaments are next !

Do the front, sides and rear window simply clip in place somehow?

I can't think I'd ever want them to open. Simply have them on or off.

They are held in place by 1/2 turn buttons.

Where'd you get your door latches?

They are called slam latches.Kind of expensive @ $70.00 for the pair, but they work very well.I have also used storm door latches and they did work but not as well as the slam latches.
