Got new tires for the Ryobi ZT480e today. Went 1 inch larger width than the supplied 18x8.5-8 turf tires. The one shot shows the details on the Good Year Super Lug tires that are 18x9.5-8.

They still clear the mechanism just inside the tire about the same 1/2 inch. The picture appears as though the tire is touching. No. Has near the same clearance as the originals.

The other shot is a little more overall. Yes, I put them on backwards. Didn't notice it until I had the nuts on and hand tight. Don't need to have them shed mud, as they would do with the "V" forward.

The sales person at Settle Tire in Charlottesville has some like these, and he said the lugs were noticeable on the ride. I didn't notice them much at all. Could be because I have the "V" reversed?

The original turfs were fine for straight up slopes and for backing down the slopes. Go across slope only a little bit, and the uphill tire would slip and lose traction. Really bad on double sloped areas.

I was hoping for Carlisle AT101s, but they only come in much larger sizes. Two or 3 people here have raved about them. These have more pronounced lugs than the "Chevron" ones on the AT101s.
