New shooting deck

I treated it with this stuff, it says its good for ground contact and docks in the water for 30 years. I have no idea if its that good for that long only been using it for about 4 years now. Its pretty much the same thing as they use on "pressure treated" wood and its pretty vial stuff. Oh, and bonus... makes it like a nice green camo color!!:D

That makes sense. I've used that too and agree, it can be pretty vial. :) I'll bet that siding will last forever being treated with that and being up in the air.

I'm hoping, I don't want to have to climb up there and do it again!!

I have not used that product but have had great results using preservative and a garden sprayer at the hottest and driest time of the year. The sprayer puts out the right amount and the wood just soaks it up. A brush isn't as good as a sprayer.

On wagons and trailer decks not exposed to the weather, I just spray boiled linseed oil thinned with paint thinner. Same garden sprayer and 10 years later they look the same as day one with the exception of tire marks and gouges in the wood.

That Woodlife Copper Coat that hunt4570 used reminds me of old school preservatives. It smells so strong, it might even cause flashbacks to the days when pressure treated wood first came out. :D

This stuff is pretty vial, I wouldn't want to spray it, brush does a more thorough job anyway..

Ok, you all remember this little shooting tower/deer blind/fort/clubhouse I built? Well I finally got around to hunting out of it, second time hunting, first deer. Lazered at 296 yards, and ran about 40-50.

Here's the little blind

I'd say the tower/deer blind/fort/clubhouse you built works on all points! Good job.

HAHA!! I thought about changing it to hunt500 at one time, but I think I'll just leave it as is for now. hunt6.5Creedmoor is just way to much to type all the time!!!

Oh, and thanks.
