Hello & thanks for welcoming me to the forum.
I have a 3 year old BX25 with 165 hours, that starting giving me bogging down issues when I picked up a load or accelerated. It would reduce to idle speed but not stall, and if cut back on throttle it would come back to normal speed.
I changed the fuel filters and the diesel , even added anti gel as winters sets in here, but it wont start at all. I suspect fuel pump issue, but not sure?
Ideas?

JVCIII,
When you turn on the key but do not try to start, do you hear a clicking from under the tractor?? If not, you probably have the same problem I had. The electric fuel pump is about to fail, OR has failed. After replacing the electric fuel pump, all my starting and running under load went away.

Because of my budget concerns, I did not get the replacement from Kubota ($250). I found a replacement at the local auto parts store that had a slightly higher flow rate and a slightly higher working pressure for under $50. It even had the same size hose connections on both ends. Took me about 1/2 hour to replace. :2cents:

Wont start? ok , lets start there -- can you explain this a bit more? does engine crank? If not make sure the hst is centered, pto is off by checking by pulling lever back. is the glow plugs functioning before starting? The BX is self bleeding in fuel system, did you try cycling the key in the on position at least 5- 10 secs several times before going back and try glowing? Can you hear the clicking pump working? Does both fuel filters have diesel in them after you replaced them? Report back before you try anything else.

I have over 1K hours on mine. That has happened 4 time to me. Each time changing the first filter in line from the tank solved it. Just did it again today. Drained out a quart of fuel today and it is clear as new. the filters upon exam have been full of a black gunk material. Have always use fuel additive since new and fill with a pump from transfer tank through a 10 Micron filter. Fuel filters are cheap so no incentive to have the gunk analyzed and there is no other evidence of algae. I buy fuel at a high throughput vendor so not stale fuel either. I now have a valve ahead of the filter to make changing easier. I wonder if the black ABS tank is breaking down?
