After months of waiting and a comedy of errors on the dealers part I finally have the YL310 front end loader and 3rd function kit installed. After fixing all of the hose routing issues (due to a terrible installation) I parked the tractor assuming it was ready to go. I came out a few days later to find a puddle of hydraulic fluid under the quick connect fittings. I cleaned everything up and threw a drip pan under it. Two days later I came out to find a puddle under the QA fittings again.
Is this common with the Yanmar fittings? They don't leak under pressure but if I push the hoses to the side at all when the tractor isn't running I can see hydraulic fluid seep out of the fittings. They seem very sloppy for QA fittings. Due to this I can't secure the hoses the way that they should be because the zip ties pull the hoses to the side and make the leaks even worse. The fittings on my old 2006 Kubota B3030 FEL have never leaked a drop, even if I force them sideways.
Considering what the loader cost (and the 6 month wait time) if I have to replace all of the QA fittings on a brand new FEL to get rid of the constant drips I'm going to be pretty annoyed. Don't even get me started on the poor dealer install.
Thoughts? Solutions?
