Just want to say hi to All here at this site. Yesterday i bought my first tractor. It is a Used Kubota L3400 with 115 hours on it. I have been told that this amount of hours is just barely broke in. I will say thanks to this site before hand as i know i'll be reading around...Good Day!

I purchased a L3400 last summer with nearly identical hours. It is a great tractor and has done everything I have asked of it. I almost tipped mine over sideways on day #2 from lifting a heavy object with the loader. I checked and found out the tires were previously loaded with fluid but I did move the wheels out to widen the rear (see owner's manual). I also built a 1,000 rear weight to use when loadering. Congrats and welcome aboard.

When you bought it were you assured that the 50-hour service was done on the tractor either by a dealer or the previous owner? You can have a dealer run the serial number to see if was done within the dealership system.

That 50-hour service is critical to long life. If you don't know or aren't sure it was done then doing it yourself now will ensure a good night's sleep. The manual should indicate all of the service items that are necessary at the 50-hour.

Oh...keep all of those Zerks greased. Every 10 hours is recommended but opinions vary depending on use.

TBN has a decent search function to give a good first look at answer(s) to any questions.

Hope your experience here is a good one.
