Since pricing is very regional, and since you didn't fill out your profile, we are all at a serious disadvantage to begin helping you. I would suggest you contact TARHEEL TRACTOR and CORRIHER IMPLEMENT, both are nationwide New Holland dealers based in the Carolinas and both offer very competitive pricing.

I think you are paying a premium price for a 2004 TC35A. That's about the price of a TC35D with loader. Understanding that it's a seller's market on these new tractors, I'd surely offer your dealer at least $1000 less and I think he could go $1500 less without hurting himself. If I were "running" your trade, I'd call him up and offer him $17,750 and tell him if he couldn't sell it to you for that, to give you a call when the prices came down a bit. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If he wants your business, he'll call you. If not, you can always keep looking. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Jinman I dont believe he will call because with no programs currently available except for 350.00 . The 17750.00 you are suggesting would now be below dealers cost. I think the only way a dealer would take a deal like that right now would be if the tractor is bearing interest. Since these tractors just started shipping a few months ago none of them would be bearing interest yet. So I would have to say the dealer is pretty close to where he should be since his cost is about 18400. at this time on that package.

Spencer, are you saying a gear drive TC35A 4x4 is more than $14,000 dealer's cost? Is $3,750 less than dealer's cost on a 16LA? Remember, I'm offering advice from a buyer's perspective and trying to negotiate for the best deal. If I could get a dealer to drop from $19,300 to $18,500 as a counter-offer, that would be a better deal for me and the dealer would still make some money. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'm just very surprised to see that on the new tractors, the price of the TC35 is now what a TC45 used to be. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I just checked my invoice on my TC45D from 2001. It was $18,200 with a single remote valve installed. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It just seems with the new model introduction and steel prices rumored to rise the price of the TCs is spiraling upward. It seems incredible to me that the new TC35A gear-drive tractor has a dealer's cost above the selling price of my TC45D. Go figure! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I hope New Holland gives you dealers a break soon. You not only have to deal with competition, you have to deal with "old" guys like me who still think tractors ought to cost less. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Jin, Im not sure if you saw this at first, but the price is with a 16LA loader. There is also a $250 loader rebate included as well. I did see the same machine on that tarheel ebay place for $17990, but Im in KY. This tractor has been on the lot long enough to escape the steel upcharge and it does qualify for 36 months @ 0% so that's the upside.
thanks for both of your alls help.

I think you've seen that prices have really gone up on these tractors. As a minimum at the $19,330 price, I'd try to negotiate with the dealer for the quick-attach loader. The zero percent financing will also save you $1000+ over the 36 mo. contract.

Are you buying other implements?

its bad! the days when New Holland gave us an extra 1500.00 at settlement are gone thats why these tractors have gone up so much. The only thing you get is 350. plus the 250. for the loader. Plus to give the 0% the dealer now has to pay a 1% fee. I will say that my cost are slightly higher becasue of freight charges. the guys in the carolinas are not paying the 549.00 I pay for a tractor and loader shipped to the northeast this is why they can do it for 17900. this would be about his cost without those freight charges.
