Spencer, are you saying a gear drive TC35A 4x4 is more than $14,000 dealer's cost? Is $3,750 less than dealer's cost on a 16LA? Remember, I'm offering advice from a buyer's perspective and trying to negotiate for the best deal. If I could get a dealer to drop from $19,300 to $18,500 as a counter-offer, that would be a better deal for me and the dealer would still make some money. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I'm just very surprised to see that on the new tractors, the price of the TC35 is now what a TC45 used to be. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I just checked my invoice on my TC45D from 2001. It was $18,200 with a single remote valve installed. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It just seems with the new model introduction and steel prices rumored to rise the price of the TCs is spiraling upward. It seems incredible to me that the new TC35A gear-drive tractor has a dealer's cost above the selling price of my TC45D. Go figure! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I hope New Holland gives you dealers a break soon. You not only have to deal with competition, you have to deal with "old" guys like me who still think tractors ought to cost less. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
