I have found a few places on line that talk of the issue I am having but nobody states any resolution. I recently bought this tractor from a friend that move out of state so I do not know all of the history but the issue is as follows:
Shuttle stopped working in reverse last Saturday. the shuttle lever was a little loose so I took it back to the garage tightend the thing up and I had forward and reverse.
Went back to work ten min later and lost forward and reverse with in a few min.
Left the machine for two days started it and had forward and reverse parked it until this Saturday and 5 min after starting I lost reverse.
I have read about a shuttle shift solenoid but I am un aware of where it is or what the right way to test it is. can it be by passed to test? I do not think it is the seat switch because I have had one direction and not the other.
