I thought the clutch was for the pto engagement only
Does this make any sense?
The HST drive does not work when the clutch is depressed on the B2920!
Released the clutch and bingo! Is this a safety feature?

Depressing the clutch disengages all power to the drive train, including the HST, PTO, HI-LO, 4wd etc. The HST will not operate with the clutch depressed.Granted I haven't had a real tractor for very long, but I can't figure out why you would want to operate the HST drive with the clutch depressed. I'm imagining you want to stop a pto driven implement briefly to reposition the tractor? If so, disengaging the PTO is inconvenient?
