I received my 1026R today with an eighth of a tank, enough to run for 20min! Not only that
But the poor delivery guy could not even show me how to install the snow blade. He told me they
Only send the salesman to training? Now I have to call them when I need to put the blade on, in hopes that he
has learned by then? The delivery guy was nice enough to spend some time with me for the other attachments and answer
My questions though.
I could not even get a sweatshirt or hat out of the deal! I did mention it in passing.
I guess I expected more, 18,000 sale and my second JD there. I even paid a bit more due
The fact they were local.
Bummer......

Lonney, Doug, or Joe? They didn't even want to sell me one last fall. Even though they don't stock much green, Boullion sales on territorial rd are great guys. Just remember: DG = don't go.

Unacceptable in my opinion. I always deliver the machines I sell. There may be the rare occurrence that, to get someone the machine sooner than later, I may have to have driver drop off but ours knows at least the operational basics and you would have been advised prior to this as well as had a time that someone would come out to do training. You can bet, especially on a small tractor, the tank is full.

Whe I purchased my new 2520 last summer. I was aksed to come down to the dealer for a walk around to explain all functions, and answer any questions. Only after that was my delivery scheduled.
It wasn't just a quick here you go either, even simple things like actually pulling the air cleaner apart to show the replaceable filters.
The dealer made sure I was comfortable, and that he had answered all questions.

Well I went up there today because I had four loose bolts holding the bumper on. I did bring up the gas and the fact I was not pleased.
The salesman did come out to my place with 5 gallons, then realized the loose bolts were actually the incorrect bolts.?? He left and returned with the proper bolts and reviewed the machine and any questions or concerns I had. Although he did not know how to install the quick hitch and plow I was grateful that he came out and corrected the problems. I did mention my frustration with the gas issue, he told me they are told to provide at least a quarter tank, that it ridiculous. And yes skiX my X500 did have a full tank when it was delivered. Go figure! Well in the end at least all is well, just took too much time to do it. Now it's time to put it to work!

When i bought my x534 which with accessories came close to 10k i got zilch too. 1/4 tank of fuel, no operational indoc training, no walk through mounting the snowblower, no maintenance overview, no thanks for the sale, no follow up call a week or month later. Basically NOTHING.

So i will give them the same, nothing. No favorable mention to friends or co-workers, no more business, no positive reviews, no future sales. And i told them this too. JD did send me a owners ball cap after i registered my equipment online, but that's all i got.

What a joke! I did get a couple hats when I purchased the X500 3 years ago. Don't they get customer service is critical to business success?
But in reality most don't work on commission or at least the dealer I deal with. I guess they don't have much incentive to follow up as repeat business does not do much for them personally, perhaps for dealers, $ is all in the service and parts?

I got my 2305 in 2006 with 62c mower, 54" power angle blade, front quick hitch, brush guard and got nothing but a full tank of diesel and a tube of JD grease I asked them to throw in. Then I had to hound them for the manuals to the attachments. And this dealership has 5 locations. I guess that's just the way some are. :(

All tractors (3) and riding mowers (5) I've purchassed from my dealer over the years came with a full tank of fuel. Also received all manuals and as much "hands on" training" as I needed to learn use of attachments, etc. For what people pay for these things I don't think that is out of line.
