I so glad to hear the good news... nothing like tracking down a problem to resolution.

Admire your tenacity because the last thing most would want to do is be outside in winter working on equipment.

Isn't power suppose to go to the coil first then when the points open the power goes to the plug through the rotor button, maybe see if the coil is getting power frist.....

Electricty doesn't work that way. If there isn't a complete circuit thru the points AND the coil, nothing happens.
I had a problem with ignition on my NAA for a while. I finally realized the ignition switch had high resistance. I replaced it and solved the problem.
