Northern New England cold snap next week

My area forecast for mid-next week calls for lows -15*F to -20*F. High on Wednesday of 2*F. No snow.

Just a heads up if you need to check your antifreeze or wood pile. :laughing:

Yup, chilly willy whizzing or doing anything outside next week.

Enjoying 44* today and tomorrow night to be in the teens and single digits next week. The red squirell living in the wood pile is about to lose his house next week - maybe I'll let him make it thru the cold snap before he has to move on.

Wow Dave, that is cold. We are getting it down here as well with single digits at night. I have family up in Fort Kent. They better bundle up and stock the wood shed.

Sounds like a heat wave! This crazy weather, it was 56 here today. Its supposed to be the teens Tuesday.

Yup, it's not unusual, just becoming so. The record lows here for the last three days of January are -26*, -28*, and -35*. We haven't been below -10*F for several years now. Actually, I hope it kills some those pesky invasive insects dead.
